Ghost Pony has been making a name for themselves in the Berlin Underground scene since 2017, playing their own mix of Surf, Dream Pop and Garage labelled as Mud Pop. The songs are defined by swampy guitar riffs and a dark voice that sounds like a distant cave echo.
Their self-titled debut album, coming out on July 21st, is a versatile and intriguing affair. The band crafted a fresh sounding and exciting record, while not hiding their retrophile approach that is enthusiastically embracing the past glory of bands like La Luz, Mazzy Star or The Cramps.
